Sky TV ultimate deal saves over £590 off your bill as major update arrives next month

Sky TV and Virgin Media continue to tussle for your business.

Just a few days ago, that saved customers money off their bill via a £150 bill credit.

Now Sky TV is fighting back with its own mega savings and this could be one of the best deals of the year.

The satellite TV firm has unveiled an offer which saves customers a huge £594 off their bill.

Not only is that a huge reduction but the deal includes a swathe of top TV, sports and movies.

Sky’s bundle includes over 300 channels with Sky Sports, Sky Entertainment and Sky Cinema all part of the package.

There’s even content available in full HD thrown in as well.

Sky says this bundle would usually cost £78 per month but this deal drops that cost to £45.

There’s also a Sky Q box as part of the contract.

It is worth noting that this deal includes a standard 1TB Sky Q set-top box and there is a £20 one-off to pay.

If you want the improved 2TB box, which lets you watch in 4K and offers more recordings at once, the one-off fee rises to £199.

This £45 per month low cost lasts for 18-months and the deal is only available until October 18.

The news of this cut-price Sky bundle comes as the firm is set to bring one of the biggest changes to its platform next month.

Customers with  accounts will be able to see these services integrated for the first time from November with two simple options available for payment and viewing.

For those that want the most interactive service, Sky is launching something called Ultimate On Demand.

This allows Netflix and Sky content to appear side-by-side within in the main Q home screen making it simple to watch shows from both services.

Ultimate on Demand will cost £10 per month which includes access to Sky Box Sets (usually £5 per month) and Netflix Standard (£7.99) – giving customers a saving of £2.99 per month.

If you simply want to use your current Netflix account, a new app will also be available on the Q platform next month.

Speaking about the launch, Chris Whiteley, Director Business Development UK/IE, Netflix, said: “Innovation is at the core of Netflix.

“We are delighted to partner with Sky to offer fans a new and exciting way to access the best of entertainment from around the world.”
