Spain captain Ramos will tonight be attempting to lead his side to back-to-back victories against Kane and England when they clash in the Nations League here in Seville.
Spain won 2-1 at Wembley last month in the opening game of both countries’ Nations League campaigns, with goals from Saul and Rodrigo, after Marcus Rashford had given Gareth Southgate’s team an early lead.
England kept their hopes alive with a goalless draw in Croatia on Friday night, but it was a game that marked Tottenham striker Kane’s sixth successive England appearance without a goal – a worrying drought at a key time.
Ramos, though, is a fan and believes that Kane, who will again lead the England attack tonight at the Estadio Benito Villamarin, home of Real Betis, has the technical skills to play alongside him in La Liga.

Kane was the only player 33-year-old legend Ramos, who will win his 160th cap for Spain on Monday in his home town, mentioned when asked which England player could cut it in Spain.
He said: “There are some players from the Premier League who concentrate on the physical side of the game. But there are also very important technical players there.
“Let’s start with Harry Kane. He’s physically a fantastic striker but technically he surprises you.
“He surprises a lot of people but not me. He is great technically.
“We are going to try and keep his scoring drought going as that would be a very good sign for us.
“We know that the level of difficulty is very high tonight. We know we have a fantastic team in front of us.
“Even though we played a great game at Wembley there are things we can improve.
“England had a fantastic World Cup and were semi-finalists, with a lot of personality, despite it being a young team. Offensively they are very dangerous.”
Spain, who are playing at Betis for the first time in 23 years, have not lost at home in 38 competitive games, since going down against Greece in June 2003 – 5,610 days ago.
Spanish coach Luis Enrique, though, last night admitted that he has been listening to Southgate’s press conferences as England manager to help him improve his English.
The former Barcelona coach said: “I like Gareth Southgate as a manager.
“He’s a manager who likes to play. Maybe England historically have not played with possession but Southgate likes to play that way.
“He’s someone I have always followed and I like the way he talks and interprets football. He has just renewed his contract which shows they have belief in him.
“I have followed his press conferences to help me learn English. It’s like having an English teacher for free.”
