Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals WWE bid and teases Brock Lesnar tie after Conor McGregor chaos

Khabib’s UFC future is in doubt following the brawl that ensued after he successfully defended the Lightweight Championship against Conor McGregor at UFC 229 in Las Vegas.

The Russian extended his undefeated streak at the T-Mobile Arena after submitting McGregor in the fourth round with a rear naked choke.

But the fight was overshadowed by some chaotic scenes that took place around the Octagon after the match.

Khabib leapt out to attack Bellator fighter Dillon Danis, one of his opponent’s closest allies in the camp.

McGregor was then attacked from behind by two members of the Lightweight Champion’s entourage who delivered blows on him when he wasn’t looking.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission have since temporarily suspended both fighters whereas Khabib told UFC that he will leave if they sack his friend and fellow fighter Zubaira Tukhugov for getting involved in the melee.

But it seems like WWE tried to offer the Russian fighter a way out of Dana White’s promotion.

The 30-year-old took to Twitter and revealed that Vince McMahon’s promotion have approached him and hinted at a dream match against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Lesnar.

Khabib tweeted: “@WWE ask me to jump inside. What do you think guys? #SmashLesnar #FakeFights.”

A number of fans welcomed the news and urged the fighter to join the wrestling giants.

“Hell Yeah,” wrote one fan, “Yes got to WWE” posted another, and some other members of the WWE Universe shared GIFs of Daniel Bryan leading a YES chant.

Lesnar works on a part-time basis with WWE and recently became the longest-reigning Universal Champion of all time as he held on RAW’s premier title for 504 days.

The Beast’s next WWE in-ring appearance will take place at WWE Crown Jewel on November 2 in Saudi Arabia.

The Conqueror will face Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match.

He also seems to be set to return to the Octagon to challenge Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
