REVEALED: What Conor McGregor REALLY said to Khabib in UFC clash

The fiery Irish fighter appeared to play down barbs he aimed at his Russian rival in the build-up to their Las Vegas fight.

During the fight, McGregor can be seen mouthing, “It’s only business” to Nurmagomedov before the Russian won Saturday’s bout.

Nurmagomedov is heard roaring back “Hey, lets’s go”.

The Russian finished off McGregor with a rear-naked choke in the following fourth round.

Disgraceful scenes marred the fight’s aftermath, with Nurmagomedov attacking McGregor’s training partner Dillon Denis in a full-scale brawl.

Three of the Russian team also laid into McGregor as he recovered.

Nurmagomedov later apologised but claimed he had been provoked by McGregor’s pre-match behaviour.

The build-up to their Sin City UFC 229 showdown was marred by a series of taunts from McGregor.

McGregor, nicknamed Notorious, attacked Nurmagomedov over his Muslim faith and background, branding him a “mad backwards cxxx”.

He also insulted Nurmagomedov’s father, labelling him a “quivering coward”.

McGregor has now been suspended for a month on medical grounds after his UFC 229 defeat.

Bout organisers Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) confirmed McGregor is suspended from fighting until November 6.

Such medical suspensions are commonplace in UFC, with 13 fighters on the Las Vegas card suspended on medical grounds.

A defiant McGregor tweeted after the bout that he was gearing up for the fighters’ next meeting.

McGregor posted: “Good knock. Looking forward to the rematch”.

Nurmagomedov remains undefeated after the win at the T-Mobile Arena.
