Amazon Echo rival as new Google Home Hub set to be revealed TODAY

Amazon’s new and fully refreshed Echo Show will go on sale later this week with this smart speaker offering a recipes display and improved sound.

However, it seems the concept of a smart device with a screen hasn’t gone unnoticed by with the US firm now expected to reveal something very similar.

for later today where it will show off its new range of gadgets.

The headline announcement will be the new Pixel 3 smartphones but expect plenty more from Google including the possible launch of something called the Home Hub.

This gadget has been exposed by a recently leaked EE brochure which claims to reveal full details about this smart device.

The Google Home Hub will apparently include a screen which will display useful information such as local weather and traffic.

It can also show your calendar, commute time, reminders plus there’s ability to control lights, smart cameras, and even your TV.

Of course, this device looks set to include a screen so it appears users will simply be able to ask Google for content which can then be viewed.

The leak also suggests that recipes, local business information and YouTube videos will be available on the platform at launch.

Although there’s no price revealed in the leak there is a release date which claims the Google Home Hub will be available from October 22.

Google’s big launch event kicks off tonight from 4pm with other products including a new Pixel Slate tablet also expected to be revealed.

Epress.co.uk will be at Google’s keynote in London and will bring you all news live as it happens.
