Halloween 2018 event is kicking off soon with the Halloween Terror bonanza bringing with it a host of new skins.

The official Overwatch Twitter account has been teasing upcoming new skins as the Halloween Terror event draws near.

For the past few days they have been revealing brand new skins for the Overwatch Halloween event while the leaks seen in previous years have all but dried up.

So far four heroes have had their Halloween skins revealed by the California-based gaming giant.

These Overwatch characters who have had their Halloween skins revealed are Doomfist, Moira, Widowmaker and Pharah.

The latest Overwatch character to get their Halloween skin revealed was Pharah.

Alongside a teaser video online the Overwatch Twitter posted: “That’s the spirit.

“BOO-P your enemies as ENCHANTED ARMOR PHARAH (Legendary)!”

The Overwatch Halloween Terror 2018 event kicks off on Tuesday October 9 on PS4, Xbox One and PCs.

Judging by past Overwatch releases, fans can expect it to go live between 6pm and 7pm BST.

We know that the Junkenstein’s Bride skin will also be making a return during the event thanks to comments from Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan.

Fans will also be able to purchase skins from past Overwatch Halloween events once the new Halloween Terror event kicks off on Tuesday.

These returning skins will cost 1,000 credits, while the new skins will be available for 3,000 credits.

The Halloween Terror 2018 release date was confirmed alongside a brand new map teaser.

A Blizzard tweet said: “There’s a rumour among explorers about a monolithic lair.

“Home to terrifying horrors. Heroes, how will you prepare?”

The rhyme was posted alongside a short teaser video, which hints at a new map location.

Judging by the video, Chateau Guillard is getting a Halloween makeover, perhaps in-time for the Junkenstein’s Revenge game mode.

Kaplan told fans to expect one or two minor tweaks in the Junkenstein’s Revenge game mode, which pits four heroes against waves of enemies.

The Halloween Terror event could launch alongside the recently announced Torbjorn rework.
