‘I have my OWN voice and my opinions’ – Melania Trump REFUSES to back President’s views

She made the comments during a four-country tour of Africa in her first solo trip abroad.

Melania was visiting the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx in Egypt when she was speaking to journalists about her husband.

Yesterday, she announced her support for Brett Kavanaugh on the same day his appointment to the US Supreme Court was confirmed.

She said: “I think he’s highly qualified for the Supreme Court.”

But, speaking of her husband, she said she doesn’t “always agree with what he tweets”.

She said: “I have my own voice and my opinions, and it’s very important for me that I express what I feel.”

Before Egypt, Melania Trump visited Ghana, Kenya and Malawi.

Some have claimed the trip is a snub at her husband.

The President had allegedly previously described African countries as “sh**hole countries”

But at the UN last month, President Trump said: “We both love Africa. Africa is so beautiful”.

In another incident from her trip abroad which may cause upset for her husband, it has been revealed Melania Trump watches the President’s least favourite channel: CNN.

According to an email obtained by The New York Times, she had tuned into the channel on Air Force One.

It is rumoured he ‘erupted with rage’ when he found out.

Later emails confirmed it would be standard operating procedure to watch Fox in the future.

Concerns have subsequently increased about how selective Trump is in retrieving information.

At a rally yesterday, Trump criticised the ‘fake news media’ for making the crowd of protestors at the Kavanaugh hearing appear bigger than it actually was.
