Fortnite dance LTM release date: Disco Domination coming to Battle Royale update 6.1

update 6.1 will be released alongside a brand new limited time mode (LTM).

And it’s good news for Fortnite dance fans, because the new LTM is titled Disco Domination.

Revealed as part of the in-game news feed, Disco Domination tasks players with capturing dance floors across the map.

Teams must defend the dance floors from enemies and can earn additional points by busting a move using emotes.

There’s no official release date, but the LTM will almost certainly launch alongside this week’s update.

Update 6.1 was expected to release today (October 2), but has seemingly been pushed back to October 4.

According to the early update 6.1 patch notes, Epic is getting ready to fix some major Season 6 issues.

The Fortnite Trello page confirms that a fix is on the way for mini-map, rendering and audio issues.

There’s no word on whether or not Shadow Stones will return, although this seems like a safe bet.

One problem that will be fixed in the next release involves an unrendered Starter Island appearing during the loading screen.

Epic has also eliminated instances of the floating island appearing in the wrong location on the mini-map.

Audio for player eliminations being the same audio used for rotating structures has also been fixed.

Epic is also investigating audio issues when swapping items in the inventory, as well as crosshairs being blocked with certain outfits.

We’ll have the full list of patch notes when the update lands later this week.
