New Fortnite season 6 leaks have confirmed the next wave of skins and challenges coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mobile.

It’s hard to keep things under wraps when you have data miners tapping into the latest build, and it appears they’ve found a lot of new information.

This news concerns the upcoming challenges that have yet to be released by Epic Games.

We are currently on Week 1 of the new season 6 challenges, with plenty there to occupy players for the time being.

However, it can never hurt to know what’s coming next to the game and it appears thanks to leakers, we have a good idea about week 2.

These won’t be going live until later this week, but it appears that players will need to explore some important season 6 areas if they want to unlock all the battle stars next Thursday.

According to those who have leaked the information this week, the free challenges for week 2 will include using three Shadow Stones in different matches, dealing damage using a standard assault rifle and visiting seven corrupted areas.

These corrupted areas are where the earlier runes were placed by the cube, and look set to be a big part of the week 2 challenges.

Those who bought a battle pass will have access to another four challenges during week 2, including taking down one opponent at least 50 meters away, dishing out damage with pistols, as well eliminating 3 opponents with SMGs.

What seems a little off with these new challenges is that there are no location-based ones for the battle pass.

There’s at least one Treasure Map to follow or a place to visit included with the battle pass, but this week 2 list doesn’t have any.

Instead, the fourth and final challenge is dealing damage with Hunting Rifles, part of stage 1.

Epic Games have been known to change things around when it comes to weekly challenge lists, so players should be prepared for that.

And new challenges weren’t the only things that got leaked this week.

We now know a lot more about the upcoming outfits being added to the Fortnite Shop.

Following update 6.0 going live, a wealth of new designs were leaked online.

Two Epic Buddies have collated all of the skins, and Battle Pass rewards leaked earlier this week and put them into one handy image.

The image – which can be seen below – features all manner of new items, skins and emotes.

A second image showcases some of the pets, colour variations, evolved characters and even a mystery character.

Many of these designs are set to be released during the season, with some having already released by Epic Games.

The new Air Heart outfit and Heidi cosmetic went live earlier this week, so fans can cross them off the list.

The Aviation Age Gear was available to purchase during the weekend, with both designs costing 1,200 V-Bucks and the Dirigible Glider costing the same.

More designs will also be added to the Fortnite Shop over the coming weeks, with each content update expected to contain additional cosmetics.

New events may also be on the horizon, following the news that the Floating Island is leaving the Loot Lake area.

From what we have seen so far, the Floating Island could play a role in whatever new plans Epic Games has for season 6.

It was previously speculated that the floating island containing the cube would move away from Loot Lake and appear in other parts of the map.

The original report surfaced after Fortnite Intel discovered game files labelled “cube growth”.

Other players claimed to see the floating island near Salty Springs during Playground sessions.

After days of speculation, Epic Games has seemingly confirmed plans to take the floating island on tour.

A new Fortnite tweet asks if players are prepared for the darkness to rise. It’s accompanied by an image showing the floating island in a brand new location on the map.

And now that the island has started moving, players believe they know what is coming next.

According to those who found a glitch in the in-game replay feature, the island is set to visit each corrupted area of the map, which previously included runes.

These will then change into something new, possibly areas in which the corruption will vent into the Fortnite world.

And with less than a month to go until Halloween, fans may get their answers in the coming weeks.
