Were Zidane to get the job, it would leave Manchester United searching for a new frontrunner to replace Mourinho.
Mourinho is currently the odds-on favourite with the bookmakers to be the first Premier League manager to lose his job this season.
Zidane remains favourite with the bookmakers at 1/2 to replace Mourinho, yet there are plenty of other names out there.
Antonio Conte – sacked by Chelsea in the summer – is the second favourite to come in for Mourinho and remains out of a job.
