Jenna Coleman net worth: English actress is worth this huge sum of money

Jenna Coleman is a famous English actress who has appeared in multiple top-rated TV shows including Doctor Who and Victoria – but how much do you know about the 32-year-old?

Jenna was born on April 27, 1986, and grew up in Blackpool. She attended theatre company Yer Space while she was at school.

Her first big role was Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. However, she left the soap to play “hard girl” Lindsay James in Waterloo Road.

Jenna made her feature film debut in Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011.

She then became the new assistant of the eleventh Doctor Who, played by Matt Smith, before leaving to take on the role of Victoria.

Thanks to her very successful career as an actor, Jenna has amassed a sizeable fortune.

According to CelebrityNetWorth, Jenna is worth $5million (£3.8 million).

Audiences can see Jenna tonight in her brand new BBC show The Cry which begins at 9pm on BBC One.

The Cry stars Jenna as Joanna, a mother caught in a media circus after her baby is abducted in Australia.

Alongside Coleman is a cast of actors from the UK and Australia.

Series executive producer Claire Mundell told media including Express.co.uk at an event: “I think we knew right from the beginning that we wanted Jenna to play the role.

“Whoever was going to play Joanna would be someone who could convey the complexity and the layers of emotion that that character has to experience and the journey that she has to go on.”

Jenna is currently dating British actor Tom Hughes, 32. They met on the set of Victoria, where they play on-screen couple Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

Tom also played the lead in the 2014 BBC Cole War drama The Game, and has also starred in Agatha Christie’s Marple, ITV drama Trinity and BBC legal drama Silk.

Jenna previously dated Scottish actor Richard Madden, 32, who recently starred in police drama Bodyguard – coincidentally in the same TV slot as Jenna’s The Cry.

The Cry also stars Ewen Leslie, an Australian actor who has previously appeared in Top of the Lake and in The Cry director Glendyn Ivin’s last series Safe Harbour.

Ewen plays Joanna’s flinty partner Alistair, who is trying to fight to get one child back when he loses another.

Mundell said of Leslie: “We watched [his] previous show Safe Harbour and just we were blown away by it really… I think that was the easiest cast approval to get ever.”

Alistair’s ex-wife, Alexandra is played Asher Keddie – an Australian actor described by fellow cast member Stella Gonet as, “an absolute goddess,” who has previously appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine as well as popular series in Australia like Offspring and Love My Way.

In the show, Alexandra is trying to raise her difficult daughter Chloe while dealing with her resentment over his infidelity with Joanna before their marriage broke down.
