Batman SHOCK ‘Justice League 2 would have ended with Dark Knight’s DEATH’ says Zack Snyder

Last year Justice League hit cinemas only to be a box office flop and not exactly a hit with the critics.

Originally Warner Bros were going to have a second part to the film, but following the poor reception of Batman v Superman, the Extended Universe’ plans had to be rethought through.

Nevertheless Snyder, who directed Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Justice League, has revealed he planed for Batman to die at the end of Justice League 2.

The director gave the slightest of comments to a fan post less than a day ago.

Ramesh De Silva post a picture of Superman holding the corpse of Batman.

The fan tweeted: “What we may have seen in the 5 story arc… #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.”

Snyder him commented: “Of course.”

According to the storyline would have been influenced by the Final Crisis comic book storyline.

After all, Snyder has previously teased that Darkseid would have been introduced.

It’s assumed Batman would have sacrificed himself against Darkseid to save the universe.

Meanwhile in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there appears to be similar crossovers.

Just as Batman v Superman saw the DC heroes clash, so did Captain America Civil War.

However the major difference is the latest Avengers storyline is split in two, with the second half arriving next year.

Darkseid and Thanos are noticeably similar comic book villains, and we wouldn’t put it past Marvel to have Iron Man or Captain America die to save the universe.

Iron Man, another billionaire with gadgets like Batman, seems like the most likely contender for this.

After all Robert Downey Jr has been heading up the franchise as Tony Stark since 2008’s Iron Man and has seen his character develop deeply over the last decade.

Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
