Fortnite season 6: First official teaser REVEALED by Epic Games ahead of big release date

is coming soon and ahead of the new Battle Pass release date Epic Games has revealed the first official teaser on Twitter.

The Fortnite season 6 teaser was published today on Twitter today alongside the caption: “All great parties need a DJ. 3 days to Season 6.”

The mysterious teaser doesn’t reveal much, showcasing a new Fortnite season 6 skin of a metallic llama with sunglasses.

The artwork for the Fortnite season 6 teaser also boasts the lightning that caused the Fortnite cube to spawn and has a Fortnite cube-like purple tint to it.

Lots of miniature versions of the runes which caused the cube to spawn in Battle Royale can also be seen on the Fortnite season 6 teaser.

The first official Fortnite season 6 teaser was revealed after the Fortnite cube event reached its big finale in Battle Royale last Wednesday.

This all seems to be hinting that the Fortnite cube event isn’t quite done, and we could see something more happen in the aftermath of the season 5 event ending.

More than three weeks after the Fortnite cube first appeared it moved into Loot Lake where it melted and created a big, purple bouncy area.

But Fortnite fans are convinced that this isn’t the end for the Fortnite cube and Epic Games may have one more surprise in store.

These Fortnite rumours were given more weight when Mark Rein, Vice President and Co-Founder of Epic Games, took to Twitter after the Fortnite cube end.

When questioned if that was it for the Fortnite cube on Wednesday, he tweeted: “This is @FortniteGame – there’s ALWAYS something else :)”.

Epic Games have confirmed that Fortnite season 6 has a release date of Thursday September 27.

On Friday they tweeted: “Season 6 is now dropping from the Battle Bus on September 27.

“Celebrate its arrival and unlock those final Battle Pass rewards with an additional 400% Match XP all weekend, from now until September 24 at 8 AM ET (1200 GMT).

“Glide into the party!”

With the lead up to Fortnite season 5, which also began on a Thursday, Epic Games started teasers for that Battle Pass on a Monday – the same as they’ve done with season 6.

So, judging by past form this could mean that there will be two more Fortnite season 6 teasers – one on a Tuesday and one a Wednesday – before the new Battle Pass launches.

With past Fortnite season teasers they have been released 24 hours after the previous one.

So, this means that it looks like Epic Games will reveal their next Fortnite season 6 teaser at 3pm BST on Tuesday September 25.

For those in other time zones, this will be 10am eastern time and 7am pacific.
