Avengers 4 deaths: THIS character confirmed alive – Is she part of new reshoots with THOR?

Who will come back from the dead is a major question for Avengers 4.

So many heroes died and fans know that at least some of them need to return because they have their own movies lining up.

But there was also some key characters absent from Avengers 3, with some of their fates left unaswered.

Hawkeye is obviously the most prominent Avengers who expected to make a dramatic return in the sequel but a hugely popular new character was on board that Asgardian ship when Thanos attacked. Is she alive and is she part of major new scenes with Thor and even maybe Loki?

Tessa Thompson just posted on her Instagram story that she was getting on a plane with Chris Hemsworth with the tagline “Bye, London.”

The pair have been in London filming the new Men In Black reboot and Hemsworth has been confirmed for the current reshoots in Atlanta.

Thompson’s warrior Valkyrie wasn’t shown in Infinity War, although she boarded that ship at the end of Thor: Ragnarok. The home entertainment packages contained commentaries from teh filmmakers which also revealed the fates of certain characters.

Joe Russo added: “Several Asgardians have escaped. I have gone on record saying Valkyrie has escaped with some of the Asgardians.”

Thompson was spotted filming scenes last year at Durham Cathedral with a Rocket Raccoon stand-in and Chris Hemsworth. Cate Blanchett had also been rumoured to be on that set.

This ties in with speculation that Thor may try to open a portal to Hel and make contact with his father, Odin, as well as Loki and Hela.

Durham Catheral has been used before for scenes set on Asgard as well as Thor’s disturbing vision from Age of Ultron.

If Thompson flew back with Hemsworth to Atlanta, those scenes shot last year might now be in the process of being expanded.

So much attention has been focussed on theories about time travel or alternate dimensions but Avegers 4 will definitely include more than one major plotline.

Iron Man, Captain America, Ant-Man and Loki have all been spotted in what appears to be a flashback or time travel scene from Avengers 1.

But what about Thor? Coudl he be seeking answers to teh Gauntlet from his father in Hel, or teh help of Hela or even to bring his brother Loki back from death? There are even strong arguments that Loki intended Thanos to kill him so that he could get to Hel.

With Thompson’s Valkyrie (kaaka Brunnhilde) potentially involved it raises the tatalising possibility of the armies of dead heroes of Asgard, including all her fallen fellow valkuries, riding back into glorious battle one last time.

AVENGERS 4 IS OUT ON APRIL 27, 2019.
