Diablo 3 Season 15 start date and release times update for all platforms

A new season of action is coming to Diablo 3 later today, on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

This will include a host of new seasonal loot to earn, with players on all platforms getting to join in on the fun.

The good news for PC players around the world is that Blizzard is looking to launch Diablo season 15 at the same time for all gamers.

In the past, players in Europe have seen the game go live for them in the middle of the night, not an ideal starting time.

But like with Season 14, fans on PC will at least get the chance at starting their seasonal adventure in the afternoon.

Season 15 begins Friday, September 15 at 5:00 p.m. PDT in North America, 5:00 p.m. CEST in Europe, and 5:00 p.m. KST in Asia.

Unfortunately for Diablo players on PS4 and Xbox One, times will be different. This is most likely going to be a rule for when Diablo 3 comes to Nintendo Switch too.

Seasons have been known to start on consoles much later, so fans on PS4 and Xbox One and this time Blizzard have confirmed when.

Diablo 3 Season 15 will not start until Saturday, September 22 in the UK, for console players.

“Seasons go live for all console players globally at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, regardless of which regional version of the game you may have.

“Please note that Seasonal Leaderboards for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are still separate by hardware platform.”

So that means Season 15 will begin at 1am on Saturday in the UK and a little later for the rest of Europe.

But for those who have to wait a little longer, at least you don’t have to worry about the new season ending prematurely.

“We currently anticipate that Season 15 will be ending on Sunday, December 16 at 5:00 p.m. PDT in North America, 5:00 p.m. CEST in Europe, and 5:00 p.m. KST in Asia,” a message from Blizzard explains.

So plenty of time to grab those seasonal rewards that are being offered up for Diablo 3 fans.

“In addition to the Chest and Glove slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, a brand-new series of portrait frames themed around the struggle of the Eternal Conflict will be available,” the Diablo site confirms.

“For the eager cosmetic pet collectors, we thought you could use a hand. Belphegor is eager to keep a grip on your coin as it accompanies you on your adventures across Sanctuary.”

The Season Journey will also be offering up a new Class Set for those who complete specific chapters.

“Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts,” a message from Blizzard explains.

“Each Gift contains a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!

“The set you will receive depends on the Class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character.”

Haedrig’s Gift sets as confirmed by Blizzard for Diablo 3 Season 15:

  • Barbarian – Wrath of the Wastes
  • Crusader – Roland’s Legacy
  • Demon Hunter – Unhallowed Essence
  • Monk – Raiment of a Thousand Storms
  • Necromancer – Bones of Rathma
  • Witch Doctor – Helltooth Harness
  • Wizard – Tal Rasha’s Elements

And those who are new to Seasons, taking on the challenge of reaching the Conqueror tier and grabbing the stash tabs on offer is indeed worth the task.

The following tasks will need to be completed:

  • Finish a level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII difficulty within 5 minutes
  • Level three Legendary Gems to level 55
  • Complete 2 Conquests this Season
  • Kill Malthael at level 70 in 1 minute and 30 seconds on Torment XIII difficulty
  • Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty
  • Reach Greater Rift level 60 Solo
  • Use Kanai’s Cube to augment an Ancient Legendary item with a level 50+ gem
  • Use Kanai’s Cube to reforge a Legendary item

As with Season 14, Blizzard is continuing testing out the seasonal themes, which comes with a notable buff.

This time, for the duration of Season 15, all Horadric Caches earned from bounties will be doubled.

This means that each time you complete a full set of five bounties in an Act, you will receive not one, but two Horadric Caches, for twice the bounty rewards.

Blizzard has also warned that other celebrations may spring up across the globe that celebrate the nature of this theme so it will be worth keeping an eye out for a new announcement.
