Avengers 4: Title mystery SOLVED after THAT Russo brothers photo? It’s NOT good news

The Marvel blockbuster is due out next year as the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, which became a huge success earlier this year.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared a photo on Twitter this week that sparked huge discussion over what the next film’s elusive title could be.

They posted a pic of what seemed to be a film studio, with the caption reading: “Look hard…”

Fans then began dissecting everything about the photo’s composition for clues on the film’s title – noticing the formation of the letter A in a couple of places.

Some even thought they could figure out the word ENDGAME spelt out, which has been most often speculated to be the official Avengers 4 moniker. ASSEMBLE has also been touted.

Now, it seems the brothers could have been merely trolling everyone.

Not even the Marvel Studios co-president has any idea what the photo is alluding to – indicating that it almost definitely isn’t hinting at the title.

And if it is hinting at a title, this high-ranking Marvel boss certainly doesn’t know it.

“I’m looking hard but cannot figure out what’s in the photo,” Louis D’Esposito posted overnight.

“And @Russo_Brothers won’t tell me.”

Whatever the case, it seems we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out the title of the hugely anticipated epic.

Still, Kevin Feige had indicated earlier this year that it would come at some point after the Captain Marvel trailer – and that was released earlier this week.

“That’ll be after the Captain Marvel teaser probably, announcing that title,” he told Collider.

“It’ll be towards the end of the year with however we launch that film.”

Given that anything the Russos do unveil – especially trailer footage – will be a potential spoiler, and given the enormous cliffhanger of Infinity War, it’s understandable that they’re in no rush to deliver any answers.

Avengers 4 is out on April 26, 2019.
