‘We can both dig deep’: Anthony Joshua ready to fight Alexander Povetkin – video

World heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has said he expects a tough title defence on Saturday when he faces Russian challenger Alexander Povetkin in front of home support at London’s Wembley stadium. After negotiations to set up a unification fight against WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder fell through, Joshua had to face Povetkin – the mandatory challenger for the WBA belt. The Russian, the 2004 Olympic champion, has only lost one fight in his professional career from 35 bouts – a 2013 fight against Wladimir Klitschko.
