Whether this revelation had any impact on the movie’s success is hard to measure.
Critical consensus on Rotten Tomatoes reads: “The Predator has violence and quips to spare, but its chaotically hollow action adds up to another missed opportunity for a franchise increasingly defined by disappointment.”
Despite this, fans will undoubtedly enjoy its moments of homage to the original Predator movie from 1987.
