In her tell-all memoir, Full Disclosure, Stormy Daniels describes her sense of disbelief when the property mogul and star of the US version of The Apprentice began to win primary contests in 2016 on his path to the Republican presidential candidacy.
Daniels claims to have slept with Trump in 2006 after a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, California.
She later signed a $130,000 (£99,000) hush agreement on the eve of the 2016 US election.
Trump has denied the affair, although he admitted to personally reimbursing his lawyer, Michael Cohen, for the money she received.
In details that emerged yesterday, the 39-year-old wrote about having sex with him in his penthouse. She described his penis as “smaller than average” but “not freakishly small.”
Of the encounter she said: “It may have been the least impressive sex I’d ever had, but clearly, he didn’t share that opinion.”
Daniels said she kept in touch with Trump over the next year, hoping he would put her on The Apprentice as he had promised.
“We’ll figure out a way to get you the challenges beforehand,” she quotes him as saying.
“And we can devise your technique.
“He was going to have me cheat, and it was 100 per cent his idea.”
