The Browns blew a 12-3 fourth-quarter lead against the Saints in a 21-18 loss on Sunday evening despite having two chances to win the tie late on.
Gonzalez missed a go-ahead extra point when the score was tied at 18-18 with just over one minute left on the clock.
The placekicker then had the chance to send the game to overtime after the Saints retook the lead but missed a 52-yard try, meaning the Browns are still without a win since December 2016.
And it’s safe to say Browns super-fan James was not happy, taking to Instagram to vent his fury at Gonzalez.
“Are you kidding me?!” he said.
“Antonio Callaway, that’s what I’m talking about!
“That was crazy.
“But are you kidding me on the extra point?”
In a separate video, James then continued to rip into the 23-year-old.
“Nah nah nah, he better not say my bad,” he continued.
“He better not say my bad.
“He might get his ass whooped!”
Gonzalez spoke out after the game, taking responsibility for the double miss.
However, it hasn’t stopped Browns fans calling for him to be dropped.
“It’s on me 100 per cent,” Gonzalez said.
“I can’t be too mad at myself because I’m the one that did it, you know what I mean?
“I can’t blame it on [anybody] else.
“It sucks because we were so close to that win, and it’s been so long.
“I just let everybody down.”
