Royal Family feuds: The biggest Royal Family fallouts revealed – some will surprise you

Royal Family feuds are not widely known about, with the Royal Family doing everything it can to keep royal scandals and fallouts out of the public eye.

But over the years the seemingly impeccable family has faced its fair share of drama, with long-standing family feuds and disagreements that have not yet been settled.

While some make it into the public eye, others remain behind palace walls, a secret from the British public.

Family politics are always tricky, but no doubt even more so in one of the richest, most powerful and famous families in the world.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Kate Middleton

The two women appear to be great friends now, often spotted chatting and standing close to each other at royal events.

But apparently, things weren’t always smooth sailing for Kate and Camilla, with one author, Christopher Anderson, claiming the two once had a rocky relationship

In the book “Game of Crowns: Elizabeth, Camilla, Kate, and the Throne, Christopher revealed that Camilla actually wanted William and Kate to break up, allegedly asking Prince Charles to convince William to end things.

The best-selling author made the shock claims that Camilla didn’t like the way the public loved Kate and not her, and rooted for their relationship even when they did break up.

Whether the rumours are true or not, Camilla and Kate seem to be on great terms now, riding in carriages together and holidaying at Balmoral.

The Queen and James Middleton

An unlikely feud, but it has been reported that Kate Middleton’s brother James managed to upset Her Majesty in an interview.

James revealed in an interview that it was often “frustrating” being Kate’s brother, as his work is often overshadowed by the Duchess’ royal status.

“And aside from the fact of — yes, I am the brother of someone very important—I am, at the end of the day, just James,” the youngest Middleton added.

According to reports, the interview didn’t sit well with the Queen, who is known to not like the royals or people close to them commenting on the Royal Family in interviews.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Philip

One feud that has made its way into the spotlight recently is the age-old tension between Sarah Ferguson and her former father-in-law, Prince Philip.

Although Fergie and Prince Andrew have remained close since their divorce in 1996, it seems that Philip has never been able to get over what she did.

The tension apparently stems from the photos published in The Sun of Fergie having her toes sucked by Texan financial advisor John Bryan, and the media and tabloid attention she attracted afterwards.

It seems the two have never really patched things up, with a source claiming that Sarah had to leave a recent family holiday in Balmoral before Philip arrived.

Spencer family and Royal Family

Following the tragic passing of Princess Diana, the Spencer family were reportedly angry and upset at how she had been treated by the Royal Family.

In a speech at Diana’s funeral, her brother, Charles Spencer, called out the Royal Family, calling Diana’s title “bizarre” and saying she did not need a Royal title to be loved around the world.

Charles’ comments are said to have deeply upset the Queen, with sources claiming she was “disappointed” and “saddened” by the speech.

He attended Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding, but at the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Spencer family sat on the Middleton side of the Abbey.
