The animated superheroes smashed the global charts earlier this year with an undeniably superheroic $1.167 billion haul.
The upcoming home entertainment packages are sure to make Helen, Bob and the kids even bigger box office bounty.
PIXAR just announced that a new short film will be released alongside Incredibles 2.
Aunty Edna, unsurprisingly, will be about the fabulous fashion and superhero costume designer Edna Mode and that mysterious (until now) night in the movie when she babysat Jack-Jack. The two scene-stealers having their own little film is an irresistible, and doubtless explosive, idea.
As always, Incredibles 2 will be released first on Digital platforms in HD and 4K Ultra HD and streaming services.
The Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand packages will arrive two weeks later.
The Digital packages include two SuperScene Breakdowns, which analyse Mrs Incredible’s amazing action solo scene and the stand-out fight between Jack-Jack and the raccoon.
The lovely people at Pixar have also released that entire scene as a preview treat, which you can watch right here..
Two more special features focus on Samuel L. Jackson discussing his character Frozone, as well as that Auntie Edna short.
There is also good news for fans of a certain loveable dumpling…
In cinemas, the movie was preceeded by the heart-melting short film Bao, which is also part of all the Incredibles 2 home ents releases. He also gets his own accompanying featurette.
There are also bonus documentaries about Pixar Animation Studios, individual features on the film’s iconic characters and best-loved scenes, 10 deleted scenes and a full filmmaker commentary.
Fans will also be treated to a special look at creator Brad Bird, from his early days at Disney PIXAR.
There is a blooper and outtakes reel (even though it is an animated film) and even more features about the fashions and evolutions of all the heroes.
The dates released so far are for the US only. UK retailers are already listing the movie for pre-order but no official date has been confirmed yet.
INCREDIBLES 2 WILL BE OUT IN THE US ON DIGITAL PLATFORMS ON OCT 23 AND BLU-RAY AND DVD ON NOVEMBER 6
