Fortnite Shifty Shafts Treasure Map: Week 9 challenge guide and Battle Star location

Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map is one of the week 9 challenges added to the season 5 Battle Pass today.

Follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts is one of three hard difficulty challenges for Fortnite week 9.

Completing the Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map challenge will reward players with 10 Battle Stars – enough to level up a whole tier in the Battle Pass.

As seasoned Battle Royale players will know, you do not need to get the treasure map from Shifty Shafts to complete the Fortnite week 9 challenge.

Instead, Fortnite players can just head straight to the location shown on the Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map and pick up the Battle Star.

As per usual, ahead of the Fortnite season 5 challenges going live the latest Battle Pass tasks leaked early.

This gave Fortnite fans on YouTube plenty of time to figure out how to complete the Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map challenge.

One of those who figured out a solution in advance to follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts was YouTuber ShuffleGamer.

In a video posted online he offered a solution to the Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map challenge.

Instead of heading to Shifty Shafts Fortnite fans just need to go to the location shown on the Fortnite treasure map.

For week 9, this is a location inbetween Salty Springs and Dusty Divot.

Just north of Salty Springs Fortnite fans will find a mountain which has a number of different levelled off areas at varying heights.

This mountain can be found in square F6 on the Battle Royale map and the Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map Battle Star can be found there.

The Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map shows which exact level the Battle Star can be found on.

In his video online ShuffleGamer showed where he thought the Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map Battle Star would be.

There is one level on this mountain in Fortnite Battle Royale which just has some rocks on it and a single tree.

This is where the Fortnite Battle Star for follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts should be.

This level of the mountain is right next to, and overlooking, the area that has a campsite and stone fireplace.

The Fortnite week 9 season 5 challenges aren’t the only new ones that have been added to Battle Royale this week.
