Apple is widely expected to unveil a direct successor to the current iPhone X that could be called the iPhone Xs at its forthcoming event on September 12.
The device is presumed to boast the same 5.8-inch OLED display present in the company’s current flagship.
However, it will surely come with revamped internals and an improved camera system.
Apple has also been rumoured to be planning the grand unveiling of its biggest iPhone yet that will also sport an all-screen design.
This variant was initially predicted by some to be dubbed the iPhone Xs Plus, however it appears Apple could be set to ditch such branding.
Instead, a recent report from 9to5Mac insisted the Cupertino-based company could be planning to call the device iPhone Xs Max.
The publication cited from “two sources familiar with Apple’s marketing plans” as it made the bold claims.
An alleged image of both devices was also recently outed by the same publication.
One device was noticeably bigger than the other, adding further credence to rumours Apple is planning to introduce a larger device this year.
And both can be seen sporting a new gold colour.
Apple is also predicted to be lining up the announcement of a new, cheaper iPhone that will forgo some premium characteristics in exchange for a reduced price tag.
It has been rumoured the hardware will feature a single camera sensor on its rear and come with an LCD panel instead of an OLED.
And now it appears the pricing structures for the new iPhone models may have been revealed and it could bring some good news for Apple fans.
A new report from Macerkpof, citing people familiar with Apple’s forthcoming cost plans, insists the cheaper iPhone model could retail for €799 (£719.58).
It added the 5.8-inch iPhone Xs will come in at €909 (£818.65) and the iPhone Xs Max will start at €1149 (£1034.80).
Macerkpof’s claims, spotted by 9to5Mac, insisted the sources were reliable and had been accurate about costs with previous iPhones.
However it is worth noting nothing official has been announced from Apple, so the report should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.
It is assumed these prices are for the baseline models of each model specified.
This is because a report from Trendforce indicated the trio of new iPhones will come with multiple storage options.
The market intelligence firm insisted the cheaper iPhone model will come in 64GB and 256GB variants while the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max will be available in 64, 256 and 512GB options.
Although rumours are swirling about the forthcoming iPhone announcement, Apple fans will not have to wait long to see what the official word from the tech giant is.
