Battlefield 5 fans are counting down to the start of the open beta on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The Battlefield 5 beta is currently available to pre-order customers, Origin subscribers and EA Access subscribers.
But the player count will further expand with the release of the open beta, which is available to all players, pre-order or not.
The Battlefield 5 open beta has been given an September 6 release date and 9am UK start time on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

In terms of content, the Battlefield 5 beta will give fans a look Conquest mode and Grand Operations.
“Players can jump into the up 64-player Conquest mode on the Rotterdam map, set in the embattled Holland city, or the Arctic Fjord map, set in icy Narvik, Norway,” EA explains.
“In Conquest, you must battle for control of key locations on a massive multiplayer map, using the new Fortifications, towable weaponry, and Squad Reinforcements system.”
Two days of Grand Operations will also be available in the open beta.
Grand Operations is described as a “modular narrative experience inspired by historical events”. Each day represents a different round of play, which is dictated by the results of the previous round.
“Up to 64 players can deploy in the Airborne and Breakthrough modes on the Arctic Fjord map,” EA continues.
There’s even a five-part Tides of War event, complete with an exclusive reward.
