AC/DC ‘NEW ALBUM with Malcolm Young recordings and FULL BAND on the way’

Back in 2014 AC/DC released their most recent studio album, Rock or Bust, which was followed by a massive world tour.

However over the course of the last few years the band has been hit by all kinds of problems.

Firstly guitarist Malcolm Young was replaced so he could receive treatment for dementia, while drummer Phil Rudd had legal difficulties so couldn’t take part.

Then singer Brian Johnson was replaced by Axl Rose due to being at risk of going deaf and finally bassist Cliff Williams announced he would retire after the tour was finished.

This left just Angus Young as the only original member and long-standing member of the band.

And when his brother Malcolm died in 2017, AC/DC fans may well have thought that it really was all over for the band.

But now JAM Magazine claim an AC/DC insider has revealed a brand new album is on the way, with the full band back together – including recordings of Malcolm.

A statement on Facebook reads: “We are hearing from a reliable source inside the AC/DC camp that Angus Young is working on a new AC/DC album that will be dedicated to his brother, the late Malcolm Young.”

They continued: “Here’s the exciting part… the new recordings will include Malcolm Young playing rhythm guitar on ALL TRACKS!

“Turns out, five years prior to the Black Ice LP, AC/DC’s 15th studio release, Angus and Malcolm Young lived to together where they literally wrote hundreds of songs, many were recorded and have been stashed away until now.

“Angus has decided to select the best tracks from those recordings that Malcolm played on and is now back in the studio recording and mixing them with fellow band mates Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams and yes, Brian Johnson on vocals.

“Not sure when the release date will be announced but this should give all the Hardcore AC/DC fans a hard on!”

Speaking with Classic Rock magazine, Slash revealed: “We’ll see what happens. I mean, I have no prospects. Now that we’ve actually mended fences and gotten back together and done this, we’re going to keep it together.

“Because all the bulls*** we’d had that sort of caused all of the s*** back in the nineties, there was a lot of outside influence on that, so now that that’s sort of eliminated we’re just left to our own devices. We get along f***ing great. So I think we’re going to go well on into the future.

“I mean, Axl’s got a ton of s*** that he recorded already, so we’re going to get in there and just start getting into that thing, and then if we do a record and then do a tour, I could see that cycle going on endlessly.”
