Google Pixel 3 is one of the most highly-anticipated smartphones of the year and is expected to build upon everything its predecessor did well.
The new hardware is presumed to feature blisteringly fast internals, a refined camera system and a brand new design.
Pixel 3 is expected to come in two varieties as is tradition with the product line.
The first model is presumed to simply be dubbed Pixel 3 while the second will surely be called the Pixel 3 XL and will boast a larger display.
The latter appears to have been plagued with leaks in recent weeks with an entire unboxing recently emerging on YouTube of an alleged Pixel 3 XL unit.
The device was shown boasting a notched display, a front-facing speaker and a single camera sensor on its rear.
A pair of earphones that echo the design of the Pixel Buds that debuted last year was also featured in the packaging.
However, this time the headphones were wired and featured a USB-C connector at the bottom.
But now a new leak has seemingly lifted the lid on the smaller Pixel 3 phone that could have a big surprise in store for fans when it releases.
That is because images supposedly showing off the Pixel 3 have surfaced on discussion website reddit and show the device with no notch unlike the leaked Pixel 3 XL.
The hardware was shown running Android 9 Pie, boasting front-facing speakers and a single camera sensor on its rear.
Most notably the user showed off some of the internal features in the phone’s settings.
The device was shown to tout a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and two selfie cameras.
Pixel 3 was also shown sporting the signature two-tone finish of brushed aluminium and glass on its rear Google has become known for.
Originally the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL had been presumed to be announced on October 4, the same day the original Pixel and Pixel 2 were shown off.
However, it appears fans might have to wait slightly longer for the grand unveiling if a new report is to be believed.
Bloomberg recently insisted the hardware will be shown off on October 9 in New York City.
