iPhone X, Galaxy S9 and Huawei P20 Pro prices SLASHED in Amazon bank holiday sale

Amazon’s current bank holiday sale is taking place from August 22 to 29 and has seen huge reductions for a score of products.

The online retailer has slashed the price of Apple’s iPhone X by £100, making the 64GB version only £899 with free delivery.

Meanwhile, the 256GB storage option of the flagship is selling for £1,049, another £100 reduction from its normal £1,149 price tag.

The sale makes the incredible iPhone X more affordable than ever for customers wanting a SIM-free option.

Express.co.uk loved the device when we reviewed it last year, insisting it was “the iPhone Apple fans have been waiting for”.

We said: “It looks simply gorgeous and its clever design now means you get a much bigger and brighter screen in a phone that easily fits in your pocket.

“Face ID is also far better than we ever imagined and it’s strange how quickly you forget about the fingerprint sensor, plus the TrueDepth camera brings an element of fun with the ability to send Animojis.

“Apple appears to have created an iPhone that’s worthy of its 10th anniversary and it’s got a very big hit on its hands.”

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is now more tempting than ever thanks to a huge price cut.

The S9 in a 64GB storage option and SIM-free is selling for just £619 in the coral blue, lilac purple and midnight black colour variants.

This will surely be incredibly tempting for anyone looking to upgrade their smartphone or to jump into the Android ecosystem for the first time.

The Galaxy S9 touts an incredible Dual Aperture camera, a blisteringly fast processor and a gorgeous OLED display.

For those looking for another great camera alternative however, Amazon also currently has a very tantalising deal on the Huawei P20 Pro.

The Android hardware is selling for £669 in a 128GB storage model.

But the price includes a pair of Veho Bluetooth headphones and Amazon claims the total saving with its bank holiday deal is over £130.

The Chinese flagship comes with a trio of cameras on its rear that are capable of taking incredible snaps.

The P20 Pro is capable of taking incredibly clear images, even in low light conditions, as Express.co.uk noted in our review of the hardware.

We said: “Huawei is confident that this is the best smartphone snapper on the market and they might just be right.

“The P20 Pro has so many party tricks up its sleeve even the most amateur of photographers should be able to snap like a pro.

“Huawei’s Leica-branded 40 megapixel camera has really taken us by surprise and it’s almost certainly the best currently on the market for overall features and image quality.”
