Fortnite fans are still reeling from the mysterious cube event that hit Battle Royale on Friday.
In what is arguably the biggest Fortnite season 5 event so far, a mysterious purple cube appeared in Paradise Palms.
The Fortnite cube appeared in the spot that lightning which had been fired from the Rift was hitting.
And right after the Fortnite cube emerged the Rift that has been in the Fortnite sky since the season 4 rocket launch disappeared.
The Fortnite cube is covered in mysterious symbols and if Battle Royale players stand near it it charges up their shield.
But don’t try and touch it – if you do your Fortnite character will be sent flying into the air.
As players were still trying to figure out what this all means another piece to the puzzle was added – the Fortnite cube started moving.
And so far the Fortnite cube has been moving like clockwork, with the cube taking a step every one hour and 43 minutes, Fortnite Intel reported.

The Fortnite Leakage Twitter account has also predicted something big could happen with the Fortnite cube soon.
On Sunday they tweeted: “The cube will move 6 or so more times and then move to some lake (maybe loot lake?) and then should “turn on”.
“Turning on might refer to it initially spawning but I’d hope its more interesting than that.”
They later added: “Really odd how the cube is moving so much. “Lake” by definition means large so it probably will end up at Loot Lake and then “turn on” there.

“The 7 “Move” events are what really confuse me.
“We’ll also most likely see something happen at 2 PM Eastern tomorrow (the Tomato Event).”
This could mean that something major happens with the Fortnite cube at 7pm BST on Monday August 27 – but we’ll have to wait to find out.
Elsewhere a new Fortnite map location could have been leaked which may tie into the Fortnite cube event.

The official Fortnite Twitter account recently teased the upcoming Capoeira emote.
But in the background of the video Fortnite players were able to make out what looks like a new location where the Villain Lair should be.
And while the location was far out, Fortnite players are convinced that they have spotted a castle in the emote promo video.
Adding further weight to this theory is a spray that has been spotted in the Battle Pass called ‘Crazy Castle’.

The spray looks similar to the castle spotted in the distance in the Fortnite Capoeira emote video.
All this evidence of a new castle location was pooled together in posts by Twitter user ShiinaBR.
They tweeted: “In the Capoeira showcase video from the Fortnite account, we can see that several map changes.
“First of all the viking village is gone. The villain lair is gone, too.
“But the most interesting thing here: A castle has appeared next to pleasant park!”

ShiinaBR added: “We’ll most likely see those map changes in the next 2 weeks.
“(Thanks to /u/lepracs on reddit for noticing!)”
Could this brand new location appear on the Fortnite Battle Royale map once the cube finally stops moving and activates?
Finally, Fortnite fans have been dealt a season 6 shock with rumours the new Battle Pass release date could be getting delayed.
Fortnite season 6 Battle Pass release date could be delayed, according to leaks
Throughout Fortnite season 5 there has been a countdown running down showing how much time is left in the current Battle Pass.
At the start of Fortnite season 5 it said that the existing Battle Pass would end on Monday September 17 2018.
However, this has been changed now to say it will end on Monday September 24.
This means Fortnite season 6 could launch on Tuesday September 25 if the new Battle Pass is released the day after the previous one finished.
Fortnite is out on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, PCs and Macs
But rumours have surfaced that Fortnite season 6 could be delayed for even longer.
The Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account has claimed that Fortnite season 5 could be ending on October 2.
They tweeted: “Looks like Season 5 was delayed to end on October 2nd rather than September 25th”.
This could mean Fortnite season 6 would have a release date on Wednesday October 3 if it begins the day after the Fortnite season 5 end.
