In the US a new mobile phone has just hit the highstreet and it will soon be available in the UK too. This handset is called the Nexus One and it is seen as a real live contender to iPhone's mobile phone crown. The Nexus One handset is the first mobile phone to be released solely by Google. There have been handsets labeled Google Phones before such as the G1 and G2. However these were onoly actually using the Google developed android Operating System and were branded by T-Mobile or Vodafone and HTC. The Google Nexus One is being manufactured by HTC and you can see that the design has also been influenced by the HTC brand. In fact iPhone are also added little extras and the upgrade are normally free for existing customers to download. The battery on the 3GS has also been worked on and now gives you 12 hours talk time, 30 hours audio playback or 10 hours video playback.
