Fortnite season 6: Tomato Head hints THIS mystery spot could play huge part in Battle Pass

is not far away with the new Battle Pass coming up thick and fast.

However, despite Fortnite season 6 fast approaching fans are none the wiser about what the new Battle Pass could hold.

In the lead up to Fortnite season 5 and season 4 there was one big starting gun that sparked the events of the following Battle Pass.

For Fortnite season 4 that influential event was the approaching meteor, for Fortnite season 5 it was the rocket launch.

All of these events sparked plenty of fan theories ahead of the new Battle Pass launch, but Fortnite season 6 hasn’t had that major talking point yet.

But that could all be about to change very soon, and a recent mysterious addition to Battle Royale could provide some Fortnite season 6 clues.

Recently the Tomato Head that disappeared at the end of Fortnite season 4 reappeared in the Battle Royale map.

However, when it made its comeback over the weekend the Tomato Head returned as a smaller, stone like object.

But one Redditor spotted something which could be a huge hint for Fortnite season 6.

In a post, Reddit user OmegaTier100 revealed that the Fortnite Stone Tomato Head is looking at the mysterious bunker in Wailing Woods.

This hatch was first seen in Fortnite season 4 – but players aren’t able to get inside by conventional means right now as it doesn’t open.

Fortnite players have been able to get into the hatch via glitches where they found a small, underground area.

Some Fortnite players have theorised that this hatch could be the way Battle Royale and Save The World links up, according to a post by Inverse.

It has been rumoured that during Fortnite season 5 Save The World will become free-to-play.

The Fortnite season 5 theme is ‘Worlds Collide’ so maybe the worlds of PvE and PvP will link up during this Battle Pass.

Maybe that is why the Stone Head is looking at the hatch as the hatch will play a big role linking Save The World and Battle Royale together?

Alternatively, maybe Fortnite season 6 will begin with an apocalyptic event sparked by something living underground in that mysterious bunker.

It had previously been rumoured that a huge Leviathan creature would emerge at the end of Fortnite season 4.

Could that be what’s being kept in the Fortnite bunker? And could it break free at the end of season 5 or the start of Fortnite season 6?

Whatever the reason, it looks like Epic Games are starting to lay the groundwork for the launch of Fortnite season 6.

With the rifts beginning to close across the Fortnite Battle Royale map something is definitely afoot.

And it’s rumoured that a new Fortnite event is fast approaching.

Dataminers have been rummaging through Fortnite files and found code that suggests an event is happening next week.

The Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account discovered code that says another Tomato Event will take place on Monday August 27.

It’s meant to kick off at 7pm BST, so more clues about Fortnite season could be provided then.

If you’re wondering when Fortnite season 6 is kicking off, then there is a countdown in the Battle Pass showing how much time is left in season 5.

At the moment the countdown in Battle Pass says that Fortnite season 5 will have an end date of Monday September 17 2018.

With past season crossovers, the brand new Battle Pass began the day after the final day of the previous Fortnite season.

So that could mean that Fortnite season 6 has a release date of Tuesday September 18 2018.

However, it’s important to bear in mind that Epic Games delayed past Battle Royale season launches.

The end of Fortnite season 4 and the launch of Fortnite season 5 was pushed back by two days.

If that’s the case again then Fortnite season 6 could have a release date of Thursday September 20.
