Private jet set for emergency landing – US rapper Post Malone in MID-AIR EMERGENCY

The hip-hop artist, from Grapevine, Texas, is about to land in an unknown location in Massachusetts after his private jet came into trouble.

The 23-year-old travelled from Teterboro Airport, New Jersey, and is coming to the UK to perform at Reading Festival this weekend.

According to TMZ, the rapper’s Gulfstream IV aircraft’s tyres blew moments after taking off.

Jim Peters, a spokesperson with the Federal Aviation Administration, told Variety in a statement a Gulfstream Aerospace GLF-4 aircraft blew two tires as it took off from the runway at the Teterboro Airport at about 10.50am local time.

It was headed for London Luton Airport.

It comes ours after his performance alongside US veteran rockers Aerosmith at the MTV VMA awards in New York.

The shock incident is yet to be declared an emergency.

There are 16 people on board.

Another suspected passengers is Adam DeGross, Post Malone’s official tour photographer.

Post Malone is also set to perform at Leeds festival.
