PUBG Mobile Season 3 release date and latest update news

The Tencent port of the popular PC and Xbox One shooter has proven a big hit on Android and iOS.

The popular App Store download has pulled in some big numbers since its worldwide launch earlier this year.

According to the latest data, PUBG Mobile has been downloaded millions of times and has seen a steady stream of new content released for it.

In fact, PUBG Mobile surpassed 100 million downloads within 4 months (excluding China, Japan and Korea).

The mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds first released on the App Store and Google Play internationally on March 19, 2018

“We want to thank our committed development team at Lightspeed and Quantum Studios and especially thank the devoted players around the world that continue to inspire us with their passion and dedication,” PUBG Mobile manager Vincent Wang explains.

“We will continue to set the bar for mobile gaming and look to deliver even more great contents to our players later this year.”

It has also seen a revamp in the way Tencent provides content for the game, with a Roayle Season Pass now available to buy and unlock new gear.

PUBG Mobile also runs in seasons, with fans now waiting to find out when the next big event kicks off.

The PUBG Mobile Season 3 release date hasn’t been officially revealed by Tencent on Twitter or other English-speaking social media platform.

So it’s been hard to pin down when the new round of ranking will kick off on Android and iOS.

There are reports that PUBG Mobile Season 3 is scheduled to begin later this week.

This would prove great news for fans who have been left waiting for an official announcement.

The information appears to come from the Indonesian Facebook page for PUBG Mobile, which has shared news on the end of Season 2 and the start of Season 3.

A translated version of the statement reads: “Royale Pass ends on August 19 at 0:00 UTC (7:00 WIB). After that, players cannot enter the Royale Pass service. Cannot redeem prizes, get RP points.”

“The New Season will start on August 22 at 2:00 UTC. RP points, data levels and leaderboard will be reset.

“The items you get from Royale Pass are permanent except those that are temporary (i.e. Custom Room).”

While this is good news for fans who were worried about a long wait, it should be noted that there could always be a delay or a change in plans ahead of Wednesday, August 22.

It will be best for fans to keep an eye on the official PUBG Mobile social channels to find out what’s coming next to the game.

There will undoubtedly be new content made available during season 3, although it’s unclear if it will be the same stuff that’s currently available in the Chinese version.
