How Meghan Markle’s father gave her this vital advice to boost her acting career

Meghan Markle had a fairly successful acting career under her belt before she became a member of the British Royal Family.

The LA native grew up in Hollywood with a cinematographer father.

She later went on to bag a role as sexy paralegal on cable drama Suits.

In an Interview with Esquire, published on February 2018, she revealed what her dad taught her.

Thomas Markle, who now lives in Mexico, is an Emmy-award winning cinematographer.

Working behind the scenes, Meghan’s father has an eye from the technical side of shooting.

This came to be great advantage to the aspiring actress.

She told the men’s magazine: “I will always find my light. No question.”

Actors need to be trained to find their light on set to properly pick up their facial expressions during the scene.

Meghan added: “And if I don’t, I’ll know, because my dad will be the first person to call me and say like, ‘You need to have him bring another 2K in,’ and ‘Why aren’t you using this sort of lighting gel?’.

“The crew guys know that it’s where I grew up.”

Thomas Markle has won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design Excellence for a Daytime Drama Series for work on General Hospital, among others.

However, relations between Meghan and her father Thomas Markle seem to be fraught currently.

He recently made a number of outrageous claims, including comparing the royals to Scientology.

Thomas told the Sun: “They are either like Scientologists or the Stepford family. If they hear anybody say anything they just lock the doors. They need to speak up!

“They are cult-like — like Scientology — because they are secretive. They close the door, pull the shades down and put their fingers in their ears so they don’t have to hear.

“Maybe they have a secret handshake too! You cannot ask a question of them — as they won’t answer.”

Meghan Markle’s Suits salary was revealed to be a huge sum of money.

She was paid a huge £37,000 per episode for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits.

This means she earned £333,000 per year, far above that of the average American.
