There was a few qualifying heats yesterday but today sees the first track and field medals up for grabs with plenty of British athletes in contention.
The highlight of the day will come later in the evening when both the men’s and women’s 100m final takes place.
Dina Asher-Smith will be hoping to begin her European Championships with a gold medal while Zharnel Hughes and Reece Prescod will also be in contention in the men’s race.
Britain also has three representatives in the 10,000m men final in Alexander Yee, Andy Vernon, Chris Thompson while Nick Miller will be competing in the hammer throw final.
