Avengers 4 shock: Do THESE two have their own cruel ‘endgame’? It changes EVERYTHING

Time travel, alternate dimensions and a lot of wish fufillment.

Most Avengers theories are fairly similar, but the filmamkers have said nobody has come close to working out what will happen in Avengers 4.

What if the key was right there under our noses all the time? What if two of the most colourful, but also unimaginably powerful, characters in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe had their own “endgame”? The clue is in that word.

This will blow your minds.

Industry site The Wrap reports on the most shocking Avengers 4 theory yet.

It said: “The Grandmaster and the Collector are playing a game.”

Although they seem rather frivolous characters, they are Elders of the Universe and unimaginably powerful. And immortal, so don’t be fooled by Thanos’s pantomime show with the Collector in Infinity War.

Marvel does nothing by chance, so it is not a coincidence that the Collector has been closely linked throughout with the the Infinity Stones and the Grandmaster was introduced in a movie that lead directly into Avengers 3.

Marvel enjoys subverting expectations and also pulling major surprises but also subtly seeds the clues for future events.

Doctor Strange specifically uses the phrase “We’re in the endgame now.”

Who is the biggest game player of all?

The Wrap adds: “In the comics, he (Grandmaster) views the universe as a sort of playground, and does stuff like make the modern-day Avengers go back in time to fight Captain America and the Human Torch during World War II. The Collector often gets caught up in these schemes because they’re best friends.”

With Marvel also stressing that no fan theories are close to what happens in Avengers 4 the Wrap concludes: “It would follow that if the Grandmaster and the Collector somehow orchestrated the war with Thanos, its victory conditions would be different than those of a normal battle.”

The Collector at the very least has immense knowledge of the Stones while the Grandmaster is more than capable of playing a long game.

Fun as thsi theory is, it seems rather too left-field.

However, both characters, especially the Collector, could be useful to the Avengers while they try to hunt down the Infinity Stones and defeat Thanos.

Fans haven’t seen the last of them…
