Avengers 4 deaths: BAD news about one popular hero NOT shown at Infinity War end

After months of agonising secrecy, rumours and expectations, Infinity War finally hit screens.

And promptly broke our hearts.

The filmmakers are being much more open in the jam-packed extras on the Infinity War home entertainment packages which have just been released in the US.

During the writers’ live commentary they just spilled some very bad news about the fate of one particularly beloved new character.

The filmmakers previously revealed who lived and died from the main characters off screen with some real shocks.

You can see the full round-up in the gallery below, but a few slipped through the cracks.

One of the bggest mysteries was what happend to any of the surviving Asgardians and their allies on their ship after Thanos left. Joe Russo previously confirmed that Valkyrie had definitely survived, but now the writers have revealed some dark news about one of her comrades.

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have provided a treasure trove of new information during their commentary but fans will not be happy with what they said about Thor’s hilarious sidekicks Korg and Miek.

Markus ominously adds: “All I can say is pray for Korg.”

Giant rock creature Korg, brilliantly voiced by Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, fast became a fan favourite and seemed pretty indistructible. If anything it’s Miek who kept having close scrapes with death.

Markus’ comments don’t explicitly say the Kronan warrior is dead, so perhaps he is just badly hurt.

His character is not integral to the main Avengers films, but adds extra fun and dimension to any Thor adventurs.

With Chris Hemsworth’s future in the MCU still unclear, perhaps Korg’s fate will stay up in the air until more plans for Phase 4 movies are revealed.
