Snap! Identical twin girls to marry identical twins

And the same goes for their weddings to Zack and Nick Lewan, also 24, this weekend in Michigan.

Krissie and Zack will tie the knot on Friday and Kassie and Nick will walk down the aisle on Saturday.

Krissie said it was important that she and her sister had their own wedding days as “being a twin, you never get anything on your own”.

But because their guest lists are almost matching they will share a reception on Saturday night.

The couples also plan to spend a few days of their honeymoons apart.

They will travel to Florida – four days apart – and meet up for a few days at Disney World.

Kassie and Nick met at Grand Valley State University in Michigan four years ago and brought their siblings to their first date at a church service.

Krissie and Zack hit it off and both couples became an item.

The brothers proposed during a double date to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn.

“It basically happened at the same time which is par for the course for us,” Kassie said. “We do things in twos.” However, Zack insists that they are all individuals.

“We work differently and we have different interests,” he said.

Krissie said that though their relationships might seem unusual to outsiders, it seems very natural to them.

“We just flow together,” she said. “There is a special twin bond, and having someone who understands that is huge.”

However, her brother-in-law to be admits he has to pinch himself.

“I’m in disbelief sometimes of just how everything happened,” said Nick.

The foursome are not the frst sets of identical twins to wed.

In 1998 Craig and Mark Sanders married Diane and Darlene Nettemeier after meeting each other at the Twin Day Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio.

They held a joint ceremony and then set up home next door to each other in Houston, Texas.

After a year Diane and Craig had identical twin sons followed by a singleton son. Identical twins are born in three out of every 1,000 births, but the chances of even just one identical twin having identical twins are one in a million.

Mark and Darlene have two daughters and a son and the families still live next door to each other.

Craig, 51, said that he felt an “instant attraction” to only one of the blonde twins, Darlene, despite them looking the same.
