An Aeroméxico airplane with 101 folks aboard crashed Tuesday afternoon shortly after takeoff from General Guadalupe Victoria International Airport within the northwestern Mexican state of Durango, authorities mentioned.

No one was killed, the state’s governor mentioned. The nationwide Health Ministry mentioned 18 folks have been being handled at General Hospital 450.

The airplane, which the airline mentioned was an Embraer 190 plane flying from Durango to Mexico City, went down about four p.m. (5 p.m. ET) about 10 miles from the airport, also called Durango International Airport, the Mexican Transportation Ministry mentioned.
