BREAKING: North and South Korea to hold joint MILITARY talks to reduce tensions

The meeting, which is the first one since June 14, will occur at the Peace House, a South Korea-controlled building at 10am.

Major General Kim Do-gyun, the chief of the five-member South Korean delegation, said before leaving for the meeting: “We will make our best efforts to ensure that we can craft practical measures to reduce military tensions and build trust between the two Koreas through this meeting.

“At this meeting, the two sides will discuss the military segment of the summit agreement and the agenda on which we exchanged our views at the last talks in June.”
