Avengers 4 release date: Does THIS prove it’s moving forward for the US?

For a number of years now it’s been tradition for the UK to see a cinematic release of a Cinematic Universe movie a week before the US.

However this all changed this year when Avengers Infinity War was released just a day later in the US after the UK.

Then even more weirdly Ant-Man and the Wasp came out in early July, while it’s not released until later this week in the UK because of the World Cup.

Nevertheless the Avengers move was much more to do with avoiding major spoilers it seems, but as it stands next year’s Avengers 4 US release date is a week behind the UK.

Avengers 4 is set to hit UK cinemas on April 26, 2019, while not until May 3 in US theatres.

However with this year’s spoiler-avoiding move for Avengers Infinity War, fans have wildly been expecting the Avengers 4 US date to move forward to late April.

And now it looks like it has thanks to the IMAX corporation sharing their US release schedule.

it says: “Avengers 4: The IMAX Experience (Walt Disney Studios, April 2019.”

Joe told Deadline: “You know, we’re very proud of [Avengers 4].

“I think ultimately Avengers 4 may be our best work for Marvel. I think we’ve grown with every movie that we’ve made there.

“We’ve grown with the characters. We’ve grown with the cast. As filmmakers we’re very happy and very excited with the movie.”

He added: “I feel like with Avengers 4, because it was made before there was any response to Avengers 3, it’s really pure in that regard. The storytelling is very pure.

“It’s without any sort of external noise creeping in at.”

Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
