Fortnite secret battle stars: Hidden Week 3 season 5 loading screen solved

Fans can complete new challenges that unlock even more fresh opportunities for those players who are willing to go the extra mile in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Hidden tasks are back for season 5, with players able to unlock a secret battle star by finishing all of the weekly challenges offered by Epic Games.

That means completing everything on the week 3 challenge list, a total of seven tasks that were launched on Thursday, July 26.

By finishing all of the week 3 challenges, Fortnite fans will unlock a new loading screen, complete with clues.

These clues can lead you to a hidden battle star on the map, making it a little bit easier to complete those tiers.

These are called Road Trip challenges, and they take over from the old Blockbuster challenges found in season 4.

And like the Blockbusters of old, Epic Games will reward fans with a secret skin that can only be unlocked through completing all of the Road Trip.

This outfit remains hidden for now, but fans will be able to unlock it later in season 5.

For those who want a chance at grabbing this exclusive prize, you will have to earn those secret Fortnite battle stars, every week.

There are seven in total and will require that you have the new battle pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks.

SECRET BATTLE STARS WEEK 3

As mentioned above, the Fortnite secret battle star can only be unlocked in week 3 by completing all seven of the challenges set by Epic Games.

That means you will need a battle pass and the free time to complete what is currently available.

Week 3 challenges include following a treasure map in Flush Factory and shooting clay pigeons, as well as a number of other elimination-based tasks.

Having done this, you will then unlock a loading screen that gives you the right location for the secret battle star.

The week 3 loading screen features Fortnite characters racing around a track in a golf cart.

Epic Games didn’t decide to put in the usual clue of a ghostly battle star in the background but instead hid it on the cart itself.

The license plate provides players with the exact location of the secret battle star, which can be found on the J2 map grid.

The license plate also says SW, which means that the battle star can be found in the southwestern area of that grid.

These coordinates will lead you to just northeast of the Wailing Woods, close to the coast.

It should be noted that if you can’t see the battle star, it’s because you haven’t completed the full challenge list.

Epic Games have warned that the hidden star won’t appear until you have finished everything else required.

And that’s also the same for those who don’t have a battle pass and are just completing the free challenges.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play game developed by Epic Games and available to play on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch and Mobile iOS.
