Did you see Robbie Fowler’s brilliant surprise for Mohamed Salah? WATCH

Liverpool are preparing to face Premier League rivals Manchester United in an International Champions Cup fixture this evening in Michigan.

But before the game at ‘The Big House’ in Ann Arbor, Salah had some media duties to complete after a training session with his team-mates.

And one of those duties was to take part in an interview with Reds legend Fowler for LFCTV.

While his colleague quizzed Salah, Fowler turned around and quickly donned a curly brown wig.

The Egypt ace then got the shock when he noticed Fowler’s change in appearance.

“Ooo la la!” Salah joked when he saw Fowler’s new look.

“It looks better than my hair,” he remarked.

After a summer break following his participation in the World Cup with Egypt, Salah returned to the Liverpool camp mid-way through their pre-season campaign.

However, it didn’t take long for the forward to find the back of the net once again during his first game of pre-season.

It took just 52 seconds for the Kop ace to head home Liverpool’s equaliser during their friendly with Manchester City in New Jersey on Thursday.

And Salah insists the shoulder injury he suffered in the Champions League final against Real Madrid which kept him out of Egypt’s World Cup opener is much better ahead of the new campaign.

“I am very happy to be back,” Salah told Liverpool TV. “I feel good and my shoulder is much better. I’m very happy to be back in the squad.

“Last year I had a great season – everyone, not just me.

“When people talk about myself, yes there is some pressure because it was a record and we also have to improve in the Champions League and finish in a better position in the Premier League.

“But it’s not something I worry about, I just keep doing what I am doing.

“I am happy about what I am doing, so I just keep doing the same.”
