Avengers 4: Is THIS proof Thanos will TIME TRAVEL before he is KILLED?

Everybody has been concentrating on working out how the surviving Avengers will bring back everyone who died in The Snap.

Time travel is a huge part of this, but what if it’s not just the heroes? What if Thanos is also travelling through time?

After all, he is the one with the Time Stone and a recent piece of concept art from the movie seemed to confirm he travelled forward in time in the last scene of Infinity War.

Now a major new Marvel release has just opened up huge clues about when and where Thanos goes and who will kill him when he returns.

Marvel concept artist Pete Thompson released an image called “Titan Thanos farm” which shows that final idyllic scene at the end of the movie.

It confirms that Thanos went back to his home planet after destroying half of all life in the universe. Remember, the scene showed a verdant and lush valley but Titan in the present timeline is a barren and devastated dead planet. It is a desert wasteland, littered with shattered ships and cities.

Clearly Thanos has travelled forward in time and this mirrors the recent ending of the Marvel comicbook series, Infinity Countdown, when he travelled to the very end of his lifespan.

Now the first issue of the follow-up, Infinity Wars Prime has been unveiled with some massive shocks.

WARNING SPOILERS:

After Thanos travels back to the ‘present time’ in the new comic he soon faces a mystery foe. The Mad Titan has been such a central part of any Infinity Stones storylne on the page orĀ  screen, but the new issue changes everything.

The masked character, ominously called Requiem, has had a new weapon forged and thrusts it through Thanos’s chest before hopping off his head.

Is this who we think it is, and will she be the one to kill Thanos in the next movie, too?

Most fans are already convinced that Requiem is either Gamora or Nebula.

Both have sworn to kill Thanos and either would make the most powerful, fitting and emotional end to Avengers 4.

Marvel never do anything without reason or consideration for the wider Marvel properties. The comic books do not precisely follow or predict the movies, but there has already been enough crossover that fans are increasingly excited about any new clues about time travel on the big screen and who might finally defeat Thanos.
