The sick poster shows a man, mocked up to look like Mr Zuckerberg, who has been beheaded and includes the Facebook logo with “hacked” stamped across it.
The figure is wearing an orange jumpsuit, which ISIS often force their victims to wear before executing them.
The group also released screenshots of Facebook pages they claim to have hacked, which have been daubed with extreme propaganda.
According to the poster the hacks are part of a pro-ISIS online operation titled “#OPTHEWORLD”.
Several pro-ISIS hacking groups recently combined to form what they call the “United Cyber Caliphate (UCC)”.
The UCC has previously published a hit-list of more than 8,700 people and urged their supporters to “kill them wherever you find them”.
Those on the list include US President Donald Trump and numerous UK nationals.
The poster was revealed to the Daily Star by Sixgill, an online security firm.
Sixgill said: “We assume that ISIS is targeting Facebook to retaliate against its measures to censor pro-ISIS content and groups, and on more a general level because Facebook is seen as a Western symbol.”
A number of websites have been successfully hacked by ISIS supporting groups in recent months.
These include a number of East Asian government websites.
Pro-ISIS groups have previously hacked the websites of French broadcaster TV5Monde and an Australian airport.
ISIS was forced out of Raqqa in Syria, which it made the capital of its so-called caliphate, in October 2017.
However the group remains dangerous, and continues to carry out terror attacks across the world.
Yesterday ISIS claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks across Syria which killed 215 people.
