Kate Middleton reveals how she lost weight after having baby in frank confession

Kate Middleton gave birth to her third child Prince Louis in April.

It has been claimed the day after giving birth Kate drove Prince George, five, to school.

The Duchess has often been applauded for her fit and healthy physique, and now it appears the secret to her shape has been revealed.

A party-goer who met Kate in India in 2016 at the Queen’s 90th birthday claims she told them how she loses baby weight so quickly.

Proffessor BulBul Dhar-James told media the Duchess told her: “I am running after my kids.”

Kate Middleton has always been a fan of sports.

At school and university the future royal was involved in activities such as field hockey and rowing.

Many have wondered how Kate looks so fabulous shorty after giving birth to her third child.

One Twitter user wrote: “How does Kate Middleton basically lose her baby weight immediately after giving birth and I’ll be six weeks into my summer fitness routine, still trying to lose my ‘I ate too many snacks whilst revising’ weight.”

Another said: “Seeing how fast Kate Middleton bounced back after giving birth makes me really motivated to get my baby weight off.

“Eight and a half years have flown by.”

An expert told MailOnline that Kate Middleton’s weight loss is likely to be down to genetics.

Laura Spicer of The Women’s Health Clinic said: “Some women definitely can snap back into shape.

“However, if you are fit and have had a healthy pregnancy with a normal BMI it is possible to be similar to your pre-pregnancy body shape.

“It’s also got a lot to do with genetics, so if Mum recovered well you’re more likely to as well.”

And from one trend-setter to another, Kate and her daughter Princess Charlotte seem to be following the same fashion rule, eagle-eyed fans have noticed.

The Duchess and young princess have worn matching colours on various occasions.

At the recent trooping the colour both were in a pale blue, and the year before both in pink.

According to one expert this is a calculated move by the royals.

9Style’s editor Damien Woolnough explained to Nine.com.au: “When you’re the most photographed family on the planet (sorry Beyonce, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy) coordinating your look is a great way to preserve the Cambridge family’s brand.”
