Mamma Mia 2 may have been surpassed at the Box Office by Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer 2, but Abba fans certainly win for enthusiasm.
Lovers of Abba and the movie-musical franchise have made the sequel an undeniable success, and critics alike have praised it for its campy fun and, of course, Cher being, well, Cher.
Can you watch Mamma Mia 2 online? Is it legal to watch it online?
At the time of writing, there is no stream online for Mamma Mia 2.
Even the 2008 original movie is not available to stream in the UK on Netflix, Amazon Prime or Now TV Movies.

The first Mamma Mia movie is, however, available for purchase via Google Play and YouTube in the UK.
For fans who want to relive the magic of the sequel, they can check out Spotify for the soundtrack, or purchase it on Amazon.
Casual fans of Abba may not recognise many of the songs featured in the sequel, with plenty of B-sides and lesser known tracks filling up the song list.
A couple of big numbers, however, include Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, and (of course) Mamma Mia.

Den of Geek heaped praise on the sequel, giving it four out of five stars.
“A gleefully charming and welcomingly opened arms reunion that will delight fans in the same way as seeing your favourite school teachers perform end of year panto together, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will have you reaching for the nearest pair of dungarees and power platforms boots,” they wrote.
For now, the only way to get your fix of the Mamma Mia movies is by listening to their soundtracks.
Both Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried are returning as the Mamma Mia mother-daughter duo, despite rumours Meryl Streep’s Donna is in fact dead.

Mamma Mia’s three potential fathers Pierce Brosnan (Sam), Colin Firth (Harry) and Stellan Skarsgård (Bill) are all reprising their roles.
Each husband has a ‘young’ version of themselves, as does Donna (Streep) and her friends.
The young contingency features Jeremy Irvine (War Horse) as Young Sam, Hugh Skinner as Young Harry and Josh Dylan as Young Bill.
Young Donna is played by Lily James (War & Peace).

Christine Baranski (The Good Wife) is returning to her role as Tanya Chesham-Leigh, one of Donna’s friends and former bandmates with her young-self played by Jessica Keenan Wynn.
Dame Julie Walters picks up her role once again as Rosie Mulligan with her young counterpart played by Alexa Davies.
Dominic Cooper is also set to return to the Greek island, still as Sophie’s fiancé.
If you’re desperate for another Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again fix, your best bet is to head back to the cinema.
