Avengers 4 TITLE: Here’s why it probably is Avengers Endgame after all

It’s one of the favourites for what Avengers 4 could be titled, but is it really Endgame?

fans will remember Doctor Strange’s line in Avengers Infinity War where he says: “We’re in the endgame now.”

The moment was when the wizard willingly exchanged Tony Stark’s life for the Time Stone, having viewed the only possible future where the Avengers defeat Thanos.

Of course this route involved the Mad Titan winning and Doctor Strange dying, but it looks like he knows what he’s doing.

But there’s one big obstacle in the way of Avengers 4 being called Avengers Endgame; directors The Russo Brothers have said the title isn’t mentioned in Avengers Infinity War.

But we wonder if they’re actually playing it all rather coy because of two pieces of evidence.

The outlet said: “I can now say with 100% per cent certainty that Avengers: Endgame is the title for Avengers 4 (well, assuming they don’t change it now).”

They added: “I have been provided further information on Avengers: Endgame and the original source of the information.

“It is someone who does work for Disney. I know his/her name and job title, and, of course, I shall say no more and won’t reveal the person’s identity.”

What’s even more interesting is Avengers 4 cinematographer Trent Opaloch wrote the title as Avengers Endgame on his CV on his official website.

Since then he’s reverted the title back to Avengers 4, suggesting that Endgame really could be the title.

Endgame has a good ring to it and is “at the heart of the story” which is what the Russo Brothers also teased about the true title.

But we’ll have to wait until later this year to see if they’ve been feeding fans riddles.

Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
