WWE RAW PREVIEW: Ronda Rousey status, Brock Lesnar gets No1 Contender, McMahon revelation

Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley will face off once more two weeks after their battle at Extreme Rules and the winner will challenge Lesnar for the Universal Championship on August 19 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Both RAW super heavyweights won a Triple Threat Match each last week to qualify for the No1 Contender’s clash and Lashley will be looking to pick up a second win in a row over The Big Dog.

Reigns beat Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre whereas The Dominator overcame Seth Rollins and Elias in their bid to take on the champion.

Rumours suggest the match may end in a draw and that The Beast will defend the Universal Championship in a Triple Threat Match next month.

Stephanie McMahon is also set to make a historic announcement that will probably involve the women’s division.

Rumours suggest the WWE Chief Brand Officer may announce an all-female Pay-Per-View show or the introduction of new title belts, such as the Women’s Tag Team Championships or the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

McMahon could also unify the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championship in order to have one top belt in the women’s division.

The B-Team shocked the WWE Universe after winning the RAW Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules from the Deleters of Worlds and extended their impressive undefeated streak.

However, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel will have to put the titles on the line against the former champions tonight as ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt have triggered their rematch clause.

Sasha Banks and Bayley will continue to try and work things out after a session with Dr Shelby and a Tag Team Match against Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke.

Ronda Rousey’s kayfabe suspension was extended by a week after she violated the rules of her original ban last week on RAW.

Rousey attacked RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and her associate Mickie James but RAW General Manager Kurt Angle told her that if she follows the rules of her punishment then she will challenge Bliss for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
