John Cena teases EPIC Undertaker rematch ahead of WWE SummerSlam

Undertaker destroyed Cena on his return at WrestleMania 34 three months ago in less than three minutes with just one Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver.

Rumours have been suggesting that the two WWE legends will lock horns once more in the squared circle at SummerSlam on August 19 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The 16-time world champion took to Instagram where he shared a photo of a dead man’s hand rising from the grave, which made many believe he is referring to Taker.

The Deadman has a gimmick that depicts him as a macabre, sinister as well as supernatural character and every time he comes back to the ring announcers usually say he has risen from the dead.

Cena, of course, is notorious for trolling on social media but a WrestleMania rematch shouldn’t be completely ruled out.

Undertaker hinted at retirement last year at WrestleMania 33 after losing an emotional bout to Roman Reigns as he broke character and laid down his signature black jacket, gloves and hat in the middle of the ring before saluting the crowd.

However, The Phenom returned at this year’s Mania and then defeated Rusev in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

The seven-time world champion also competed during a live event at Madison Square Garden in New York recently as he teamed up with Reigns and Braun Strowman in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.

The daunting trio beat Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and Elias after Taker hit KO with a Tombstone Piledriver.

Cena is now focusing on his movie career and his last in-ring appearance took place at the Greatest Royal Rumble where he beat legendary rival Triple H.

The two WWE legends’ next confirmed appearance will take place at WWE Super Show-Down on October 6 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia where Taker will take on Triple H for the last time ever.
